Friday, November 9 Please join us in the viewing of an award winning documentary ‘Taking Root’. Taking Root tells the dramatic story of Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai whose simple act of planting trees grew into a nationwide movement to safeguard the environment, protect human rights, and defend democracy—a movement for which this charismatic woman became an iconic inspiration. The event will start at 3:30pm and go to 5:00pm at Meiley-Swallow Theatre, 31 S. Ellsworth St. North Central College, Naperville, IL 60540

3100 children in Tanzania, Malawi, & Haiti received school supplies (the Essential Binder)

Volunteers across Naperville placed 35 boxes across the community, collected new and gently used school supplies, sorted and packed the boxes to ship.
